The Breaker goes CLICK and it's also possible for the compressor's internal thermal protection to click out. It goes out on amps, and I believe also temperature.
Coils and filter need to be clean, also the shroud has to be baffled to keep hot discharge air (out the sides) from rounding the corner into the back side of the condenser.
