Hmm, 500 amps + supercap batteries (jars that can swallow the amperage) + fold-out solar panels (on both the rig and perhaps a portable setup) + a good multi-stage charger + batteries that are within 1-2 orders of magnitude of gasoline.
No generator ever needed again and the rig can be completely electric. If the batteries get low, the RV can fire up the engine, run it for a bit, and even when powered off, the supercaps would still be feeding charge to the house batteries.
Of course, this is far more useful with a gasser, because a new (recent few years) diesel will get its particulate filter clogged (Sprinter replacement is $3200.)
