Would capacity loss mean lower resting OCV's, in this case? Or should ocv remain the same, regardless of capacity loss?
If the battery is completely disconnected (as in storage) a dropping voltage reading from what is listed for your battery, or the specific gravity reading, means that the battery has either lost capacity because of sulfation (due to age or poor charging methods), or there may be an internal short in one of the cells.
If a battery drops from 12.6+ volts (differs with type of battery) 100%soc to 12.5 volts (90%soc) in 2 weeks or less I would say you have a problem.
If your disconnect does not really completely separate the battery from the 12v circuit the problem could either be in the circuits or the battery.
