ANDERSEN LEVELERS ?

These Andersen trailer levelers were mentioned in a thread recently. Checked them out online. Anyone using these and how do you like them? Says it can raise your trailer up to four inch's. Clever design. Any trouble comming off of them? My HTT is light and have used lego type blocks for years but they do slide on some surfaces and do not always guess correctly as to how many are needed. Any thoughts?
  • Love mine, should add some sort of board on sandy soil because they seem to sink. No problems otherwise. My wife watches the level and tells me when to stop. Much better than stacking things for level.
  • Adding a giant bubble level to the mix truly makes it a one-man job. (or one woman...) I LOVE them.

They work great though I wish I would have purchased the taller one's, I think they are around 6" tall, as sometimes the 4" ones just aren't enough. My trailer is a lot more stable when I use them and set the chock type blocks with a rubber mallet under the levelers, they seem to help take out the tire wiggle.

As far as I can find the levelers only come in one size 4". Andersen also makes a "Rapid Jack" which is similar to the leveler but somewhat higher. Looks like it is also longer so fitting it between the tires might be a problem.

I would swear that when I purchased mine there was a 6" version but maybe I was looking at the Rapid Jack and didn't know any better at the time? I looked around the internet trying to prove you wrong only to figure out that I'm wrong. Guess there's a first time for everything.

Yeah, I was also wrong one time. I have a set of the levers and love them. I also bought one of the Rapid Jacks but have not used it. I haven' checked to see if it is longer than the levelers and right I am stove up with a bad foot so can't go to the trailer to check
  • The wheels on my trailer are fairly close together, so I had to cut off approx. 2-3" off the thin end on one of the levelers so it would fit. They work great!

Now why didn't I think of this? The close axles is the exact reason that I rarely use mine. I guess I have an afternoon project.
