Yes it looks like it can be done with 4 batteries in series.
I looked at this one http://www.evwest.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=4&products_id=51&osCsid=naglhlcs4afl705sfec49hln20 and with 4 in series, you will have about 12.6 volts 'nominal' and 14.2 max charge cut-off and 10 volts minimum cut-off. It is also rated for intermittent 800 amp draw from the battery, so it can handle most RV loads, such as a 12 volt 4 amp TV set and 7 amp water pump at the same time.
4 batteries $135 each = $535 (give or take) so it is still kinda expensive for only 100 amp hours, yet the weight is wonderful at only 8 pounds per battery or 32 pounds total!
