Another two battery question
I have two 12 batteries in parallel on my travel trailer. My questions is whether I am better off "saving" one battery by disconnecting it when hooked to shore power for months at a time or am I bet...

As others said - no.
The disconnected one will lose charge with time, and after 2-4 months may drop dangerously low.
What you could do - to save both batteries while on shore power for months - is to upgrade the converter in your trailer. Especially if yours is a WFCO.
