Are these 12v parallel batteries wired incorrectly?

These 12v batteries came with the trailer. Theyre mismatched and you can see the 2nd battery has more corrosion. Is that due to where the solar and ground wires are attached to the pair? The batte...

Thanks everyone. Do you think not following the rule of all charging/load to the same positive terminal is what caused the corrosion on the top battery?

I need to test them. Maybe one of them is still strong.
