Are these 12v parallel batteries wired incorrectly?

These 12v batteries came with the trailer. Theyre mismatched and you can see the 2nd battery has more corrosion. Is that due to where the solar and ground wires are attached to the pair? The batte...

THe bit about balanced be sure to hook to the positive on one and negative on the other may apply at some point but unless you are microwaving dinner on inverter power... Forget it.

The batteries are wired correctly.. the corrosion is normal on lead acid batteries. When they call 'em "Maintence free".. They lie.. Very low maintenance yes. Maintenance free no.
