My FW has two (2) 'attic vents' factory.
Yes they are roof vents but only go into open space of roof that is like a small attic due to roof truss structure.
One piece rubber roof material, 5/16" roof decking, Radiant Barrier then 4 1/2" fiberglass insulation which is laid down over top of 5" wood roof trusses
NuWa statement:
Our positive vent system in the attic allows the fifth wheel to breathe and reduces considerably the condensation that the user must deal with when using the product extended or full time in cold climates.
YES ....attic vents
NUWA is in a class of their own. NOT even in the top 99% of roof builds on RV's. The OP is referring to TRUE attic vents, NOT roof top 14 X 14 Vents that come standard in all RV's. Your post points to problems with these type forums. YOUR specific RV (probably the ONLY brand) that has a true Attic space vent system and you then post ,Yes, there are attic vents. Just because YOUR specific RV has that system, does not mean the other 99 44/100% of the RV's have such a feature or can be adapted. There is always the anomaly in all things in life, but do not take it to mean others have your type system. I have seen a few over the years from the OEM, but without a TRUE air flow(due to insulation), the system does not really function as stated. Doug
