With the 8531-IV,(unlike the earlier IIs with no switch) they have a switch right beside the circuit board not far from where the blue wires that go to the thermostat are. You got a new board but is the switch on?
The two blue wires normally go to the thermostat, which is the switch with a "furnace only" thermostat.
I don't know how they are connected with a thermostat that also has the air conditioner to it. With those, apparently the connection is at the air conditioner, then to the furnace.
Yes I have a switch that is mounted to the blower housing...it has "reset" and "off". It is switched to reset. I tried bypassing the switch and there is no change.
I can't see the pics in the OP on my readout here, sorry. Try this:

The switch I meant is shown here on a 111, not a 1V, but this switch is not on a 11. Anyway it is on the left end of this 111, and is an on/off. Ignore the right hand end where burner is apart.

The limit switch is way in back where the ducts go on, but the wires to it are visible out front --I think one white and one of the two blues. The limit switch would only be a factor after things get too hot back in the duct area AFAIK.
Not clear the sail switch is acting up. The furnace ran ok. Seems to be problem getting 12v to the front end at all by getting the two blue wires to connect like they would in a "furnace only" Tstat.
