climb.on,
You'd best listen to Doug. He's been making a living working on RVs for years and absolutely knows what he's talking about.
The problem is obviously in the wiring between the furnace the air conditioner relay you hear clicking. Chances are one of those blue wires was cut by your friend the mouse. If as I think you said, you jumper the blue wires at the air conditioner and got nothing, but jumpered them at the furnace and it worked normally, there's your problem. Figure out why you can't jumper them at the air conditioner to get the furnace to operate.
Don't worrying about the thermostat, the sail switch, the limit control or anything else. The problem is staring you in the face. You lack continuity on the blue wires between the furnace and the relay in the air conditioner that closes (jumpers) those wires together when the thermostat calls for heat.
You own Doug an apology for abusing him. Instead of taking his time to help you out for nothing, he could have been at work on a paying customer's RV. Doug and I have never met but I respect his knowledge and opinion because I've been on this forum for many years and it's easy to see who knows what they're talking about and who doesn't. It's quite apparent from you're rambling troubleshooting methods you're in over your head and need the advice of someone that truly knows this stuff. I'm sure he's unsubscribed from this topic by now so you'll have to contact him with PM.
I disagree. No amount of knowledge or experience gives someone (including Doug) the right to treat someone else like &h!t. Just because I don't know the answer YET doesn't mean I'm in over my head - whatever that even means.
That said, thank you for the suggestion about a jumper on the blue wires up in the AC unit to rule out the wire damage running between the furnace and the relay board. Just did that and the furnace doesn't start. You are correct. Wire must be damaged. Bummer.
