Atwood furnace blowing cold some time at night...

I have an Atwood 7900 series furnace in my 2001 Lance 915. DSI iginition, no external timer relay. The past couple nights I have woke up to cold to find the heat has shut off and it just blows cold...

Could be a failing thermostat.
Remove the cover, locate the two wires going to the furnace. Connect them together, the furnace should start and produce heat after short time delay(10-15 seconds). It should produce heat until you separate the two wires, then go into cool down mode and shut off. If this happens, it is a bad thermostat.
