Atwood stove/oven leaking??

Question

I am finding that nothing on my camper actually works right….

Propane smell when tank left on.
I cannot track it down, but suspect the stove as these Atwoods seem to be prone to leaking. Maybe the stove regulator??
Is there anything else it could be on the stove/oven?

It is a 2004 camper and I assume original stove.

I did the soapy bubble test on all copper propane lines I could get to on fridge, heater, boiler and all around the tank. Cannot get to the oven wo removing it.

Plan is to replace the stove regulator unless there is other possibilities.

See if you can’t look up your manual. We have a 2004 Atwood range/stove and you basically lift up part of the range top to see/disconnect the propane connection. Ours does not have another regulator at the stove - all the regulating is done at the tanks. Others I’ve had were the same way.

I’ve never had anything with a stove only, So maybe yours is different.

The top should be able to open on the stove; you may have to slide it back or forward to unhook the front lip from its catch first. Then you can see and check all the propane connections (and clean all the schmutz out that may have accumulated).

If there were much of a leak there at all, you would know it from the occasional little fireball when cooking as the accumulated gas burned.

Thanks, yes, it does slide back and has a lip.
No leaks at the stove or the stove/oven regulator. This one has a 10WC regulator.
I am thinking maybe it is at the tank itself maybe since I cannot find it at stove.

BTW, I have a yellow tipped flame on one burner, Seems like I read this is bad as it can be bad to breath, unlike the blue flame. True? How to adjust if so?

Over the years whenever I smell propane I just take the rig down to a commercial propane dealer - ask them to fill the tank and to check the rig for leaks.  They have never charged me to inspection/fixing leaks.  Something to consider.

lift the top of the stove off and check if you have a pilot light in the center of the stove , the stove control may be marked Pilot as well , it supplys propane to both the oven as well as the top burners, you have to light both pilots (oven and burners) or a small amount of propane will escape unburnt... and smell propane
