Thanks for the note. I called Atwood earlier today - and the tech support guy gave me a part number for post 2002 models that "should" fit into the unit; However, my buddy's range is a 2002 trailer model. That means the Oven is probably a 2001 model. Add to it, when I researched the part number, I can't find it anywhere on the web. The part number he provided is 52148. I'll give them a call back tomorrow to see if I wrote down the part number incorrectly.
Chris's link for the owner and service manual goes into great detail as to how to read the model number, and it's really helpful - right up to the part where the part I need isn't available.
I think it's going to require a national search from salvage yards to find an older one to replace the main unit. Sigh.
