awning motor help

My power awning recently quit working.
After having it checked, they tell me the motor is bad.
I saw a video on how to replace an awning motor (from the closed position) It seemed simple but would like to see it again before I remove the motor. Now I can't find it.

Anyone have idea or instructions on awning motor removal.

    Go to youtube and type in 'Replace YOUR BRAND/MODEL awning motor' and see what you get.

    Or paste the info and we'll help you find suitable instructions.

    You haven't given any indication as to which awning you have but if it happens to be a recent model Dometic A&E power awning and it falls within certain serial numbers it would be repaired at no cost to you under this Dometic Awning Recall.
