Plus the height may be a problem. I use a small diameter string tied to a rubber ball, toss the ball over the slide and use it to pull the 1/4" nylon rope.
I bought a couple of the nylon web type luggage straps from WM that are about 2" wide that have plastic latches on them and connect them together and then throw one end over the slide and then secure them to my slide supports. That solves the "flapping" which only happens in "REALLY WINDY" weather. Just like awning "de flappers" the idea is to reduce the span of the material to prevent it from flapping in windy conditions.
