The only research I have done is looking at specs for units others have posted just out of casual curiosity. The three interesting thresholds for me are power plus margin to run coffee maker, microwave or AC. I guess the last even sillier one is 30 amp of AC for everything.
So far just making due with my old 700 watt (1400 surge) Vector.
