The price jumps really fast from 2500 watt units when you go bigger. Maybe I'll get lucky one day and find a cheap PSW unit that I can hang some grid tie inverters off of (some will accept a battery as an input) that will synch up properly to gain the extra watts needed.
In theory even MSW would work if the grid tie would synch. And it would smooth the wave form out significantly as well.
