Boon hauler: You don't need to buy everything from the same place if you have a crimper with different dies. My lugs came from Arizona Wind and Sun, but they wanted WAY too much for the hi-end cable, and you see how my 20+ crimps came out. My Excelene cable was so tight in the lug that if it wasn't flared I never would have gotten it in.
That crimper is a Mic Tools, MIC-120. I paid around $125, but can't find it on eBay now. Mex is right about the squeeze. The bigger the tool, the easier it is to get the crimp you want without detaching a tendon.
