Making A Hydraulic Cable Crimper One Handed
Actually may I beg that only owners of these lug squeezers respond?
I am thinking about buying a pair of these 2-handed die crimpers. But they don't so so well one-handed.
For me, One handle would have to be U bolted to a work bench top. And the articulated head left hanging out in front.
Would someone out there experiment and see if this is feasible? OR does the compound action demand the tableside handle to lift off of the table. This would jam the action. Obviosuly the handle bolted down needs to stay down during the entire action from full open to fully crimped. Remember from the handle upward the head is hanging off the table. Thank you. I plan on using 1/8"steel plate either side of the crimper's head. (smarter then the problem time :) )
