I checked and the Black and Decker VEC1093 is no longer available. It appears the company that made them sold out to Black and Decker, and it doesn't look like B and D still makes anything similar. Looked like a great unit for the price.
I like the idea of putting a timer on the rv plug to keep the batteries from being overcooked by the inverter, but that doesn't help with charging and desulfiting the batteries when they are low or dead.
I'll keep looking for a product similar to the Black and Decker VEC1093.
