Thanks for all the replies. I gave up on the idea of using the extra converter as a charger and bought THIS to replace the HF one that went bad. It is for my shop only, made in Mexico which I trust way more than made in China. It comes with a three year warranty.
1. Your thoughts please as it says fully automatic.
2. Can I bring batteries to 100% if I leave the setting on 10 amp? I'm guessing that it will eventually go to the 2 amp maintenance mode if set on 10 amps.
I have really learned a lot about batteries on this forum that I was ignorant of before.
3. Also can I use this charger to charge one U-1 Gel Cell battery.
4. Is it worth the 70 bucks I paid for it?
