They are maintenance free, I will give you that
And you need not mount them "This side up" either.
And enviorments that will eat Flooded Wet Cells like M&Ms won't bother 'em. But if you are driving your RV in those conditions.. Battery life won't be an issue. The whole house will fall apart.
But Longer life... Not that I have ever been able to confirmn
Faster charge/Discharge. Well LIfelines. perhaps. but not the rest
Frankly the only major advantage I've seen is on the corporate side. MORE PROFIT for the folks who make 'em and sell 'em.
