I am still confused over just what I have here, but at least the battery works after sitting so long without being used or on a float. I will get a better idea of its capacity later, after a camping trip using it.
Here is some charging advice from a different company for a very similar (same?) battery as mine. Scroll down to where they say to equalize every so often, etc. They also use the term "supplementary charge" The table says to do that at 14.8?
So how long would you leave that on and say it is done? The charge table gives some times but I don't understand their info--
What does "0.3 CA" mean for the max charge current???

These guys say theirs is a standby battery. (but also "general purpose") Mine has a chart saying it will do about 300 cycles to 100% DOD, 1,000 to 50%, and 2,400 to 30%. Seems to me if it will do that, it could be considered a "deep cycle" battery?
Looks like "6GFM" means 6 cell, General purpose, FM series. Whatever that means.
BTW-it fit perfectly in the MH's battery compartment, just filling it nicely. So the MH designer must have expected an 8D for the house battery. The compartment is sealed and vented, so a Wet 8D.
