Battery Choice Opinion Please UPDATE

Confusing. Anyway, after getting recharged overnight to near zip amps at 14.4, I jacked up the voltage to 14.8 and amps went up to 0.2 amps sitting there. I have no way to change that.
My other AGMs doing this, started to warm up and amps went up a little over time. Mex said that was wasted amps going to heat. A sign to go to Float.
I will leave it on like that for a while and see if the same thing happens here.
EDIT-Took first measurement after an hour--still 0.2 amps, side of MH 8.2C, end of battery 12.1C--After a few hours the battery temp was the same and amps did not go up. Went to Float at 13.8. Next test is to go camping and try it out.
The next battle is to try and reset my Tracer solar controller to the AGM (lower voltages than Wets) values. I am using that one on the house battery bank and the Eco-Worthy on the inverter's bank. My other AGMs want 14.8/13.8 but this one wants 14.4/13.7
