Not important, IMO.
AGM charging current will drop to zero when full.
Flooded will drop to some low current - and you will know that you're "there yet" if know your battery.
Often you won't see a zero current in AGM either - but some low current of propane/CO sensor, radio on standby etc. In my rig it's 0.2A if fridge isn't cycling at that moment.
The bottom line is - you will know when your battery is full.
You will also know whether (or when) your battery reached 93%-97% - because this is where it would be upon completion of Absorption stage, depending on battery type and brand.
The OP wanted to know whether +$200 monitor would be worth the price, i.e. whether it would make things much easier for him. To me it wouldn't. For the OP - depends on his situation. Size of solar, size of battery, pattern of use.
