Why are they still selling RV's with one battery?
Ummm cost. Were lucky to get even one... - StraboExplorerIf 1 battery ran the heater 1 night, would 2 batterys run 2 nights?
Hogwash, if the battery is fairly new and fully charged it will run several nights, ours does. - tonymullExplorerWhy are they still selling RV's with one battery?
- Mandalay_ParrExplorerProbably not. Take a generator to recharge.
- bpoundsNomadTwo words for you ... sleeping bags.
- Crazy_RayExplorerHOW long is the ROPE???
- beemerphile1ExplorerWith no real information to work with I can only give a simple rule of thumb;
one night per group 24 battery. - As long as all four batteries are fully charged.
Single battery? Not really but depends on actual use. - RoyBExplorer IIGeneral rule of thumb for using Furnace on Propane and running Furnace Fan from the battery is ONE NIGHT - ONE BATTERY...
The Furnace FAN will draw somewhere around 5-6AMPS DC Current and if this is on all night long it just barely has enough capacity to make it until daylight... There will another 1-2 AMPS being drawn all the time with battery called parasitic drains as well.
Changing over to LED lights will help out big time as each automotive incandescent 12V light bulb will draw 1AMP DC current. Changing this buld to LED lightning the power drain will be improved by 80%...
At least carry a second fully battery along with you even if it isn't hooked up...
Roy - 2oldmanExplorer IIYes or no. I don't know.
