I have two battery system the main is 4 GC2 charged by 600W Solar and Iota 55 Amp converter. Bank #2 is the 2 GC2 which I gassed out, is separate from the main house bank. It was being charge with a cheap 12v battery charger. Which I let run to long without checking on the batteries. Gary

Simce you were using them a lot in the 9 month period how were they recharged? (I am assuming you were doing some dry camping) Were the batteries being charged/maintained by the converter the rest of the time when you were not using the batteries?

These batteries are separated from the rest of the MH house system. They take care of only the bedroom inverter system for the bedroom TV and Sat and 12 volt fans. They are charge off a battery charger. I am seeing, I need to install a good quality small converter and get rid of the battery charger I been using. Gary

If you need new ones Sam's club in Manchester Ct has them at the best price. I bought two 3 years ago for our class A. we dry camp all summer at Hammonasset so they get used and charged constantly. No problems with them

Thanks my batteries are Sam's Club, But right now I am in TX for the winter. I am going to try and get the battery SG higher, If I am lucky and I get a good voltage reading, guess I will try my own load test. Thanks

It never hurts to try. I have seen severely discharged batteries sit in equipment in a warehouse for 2 years and a few of them were saved and ran for quite some time. They would be so dead that we would plug another good battery onto them and let it sit a few hours and finally get the charger to kick on.

Rub your Budda's Belly, and nail a chicken to your front door. Works as good as anything else sometimes...
