Looks like a great product and excellent price. When my BIRD died I added a similar device but found while running the engine and generator that it sometimes gives me an alternator fault warning. The voltage from the charger gets a bit too high I guess for the alternator circuit. No damage, just a nuisance warning. A few easy works arounds such as turning the charger down or turning the headlights on and the dash AC usually puts enough of a load on it.
