I am planning to use this BLUE SEA SI-ACR unit with my next battery install of two 150AH batteries in the bed of my truck bed and two batteries on the tongue of my trailer...
Schematic will look something like this for the truck side...
this BLUE SEA SI-ACR unit is a smart mode relay and will detect when the Alternator is charging and then kick-in the batteries installed in the truck bed. Not suppose to drag down your truck start battery. The same unit is cheaper from AMAZON.
I will also share these two truck bed batteries with my camper two batteries and for the most part will be recharged from the trailer on-board PD9260C instead of the truck alternator.
I am not convinced yet if my truck alternator is capable on charging a couple of more batteries in the its circuit or not...
Since this drawing was made I am now considering 150AH Trojan T1275 batteries in the truck bed...
