I want a lightweight battery to use on the trolling motor and also use to charge phones and use the fillet knife when tent camping. Also, everything is in water proof bags or tote and they float so when you tip over (it happens but not often) everything floats.
Ok, got it. Buy whatever marine hybrid you can afford. You'll get what you pay for. I would buy a cheaper one, since motor is hard on a battery if you troll often. Besides, you have no means of recharging in canoe trip, this will shorten its life too.
Battery won't float :)... And it weighs more than the displaced water, it will act as a negative flotation if you get swamped. Though unlikely occurrence with those pontoons/amas and on calm water.
Camp gadgets on such a trip should be self-sufficient. Unless you talk all the time, a phone battery should last a few days trip. Use a non-powered fillet knife, it's not like you're working on a sturgeon.
