If the OP bought that AGM battery from Cabella's, there won't be a need for ecualizing. If the battery is ever abused or is improperly maintained, it may need a conditioning regimen.
If the OP is worried about the camper battery discharging the truck's battery, he should look under the hood to see if a battery isolator is present. If not, they are easy and inexpensive to install.
