No error, assuming percentage is by volume, not weight.
1/2 of 1% is 0.01*0.5= 0.005
0.005*80 is 0.4
0.4*128=51.2oz
Expressed another way, 1% of 80 gallons is 0.8 gallons
Half of 0.8 gallons is 0.4 gallons.
0.4 gallons is 51.2oz
