I got a $2 one at the hardware store that is very accurate and reliable. It's a clear hose attached to the freshwater tank drain tap and going up to the motorhome frame. Turn the tap on to see the water level. My drain tap is easily accessible.
When the fresh water level gets low, I know the black tank is getting full.
The digital one is a nice idea.
I have an out line, an in line (large diameter) and a drain line. I guess I would have to buy three units.

The good news is the sender is fitted in the hose line and there is nothing fitted to the tank.
