You keep repeating this, but there are folks that aren't tethered to campground facilities all the time and actually use their RVs to go places. Knowing how full the tanks are can be an immense help in planning ones travels.
Use the same method regardless of where camping/rvng.
Always fill fresh water tank and use it vs city water connection.
Not hard to figure out when full or in need of more water.
Boondocking, FHU-----doesn't mattter.
Go places........:B
