Black and Decker VEC1093DBD equivelent
I have the VEC1093DBD smart charger and am very happy with it. I bought it at least 5 years ago. I'm trying to find an equivalent for a friend but can't seem to find one. The VEC isn't made anymore...

The 40A charge setting is great for a pair of 6V golf cart batteries.

I think Stanley bought/merged with B&D a few years back.
I picked up a BC8S Stanley FatMaxx battery charger/maintainer at Walmart US and have had good luck with it keeping all sorts of batteries charged up. It doesn't have the starting feature, just charge/maintain.
