My 40 has been flawless as well since I replaced the fan. - MrWizardModeratori have (2) vector chargers, a 25amp and a 40amp
i have replaced the fan in the 40amp, but beside that, they have been flawless - 3_tonsExplorer IIII can count on the BD vector up and until I plan to use it - used very little because it always finds a reason to throw a F code ...works ok as a maintainer but for that there are far cheaper ways to go...Optimate by design WILL typically recover a discharged battery so over the long haul the $120 entry fee is easily offset IMO....
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerInstitute command override to prevent shutdown of red part. Shutdown usually occurs when positioned in recliner in extension mode, with syntho-beverage clutched in fist.
Buy Megawatt or Meanwell. Set voltage at 14.8 and shutdown in 2 hours
Set to 14.0 and come back tomorrow
Set at 13.7 and never come back in which case when it comes time, Back Hoe will lower you and recliner into your final resting place... - MrWizardModeratorwether you want to try this ? is up to you
but Vectors have a little hole in the front display, use a toothpick or similar small round 'object' to push the hidden button to turn on the equalize mode
you might also try bowing some warm air on the battery for 10-15 minutes
and then try charging
i am assuming the generator is outside, and the battery is cold
warming it up might help - beemerphile1Explorer

Hi all,
The battery voltage is too low for the Vector. Thanks for all who contributed.
I'm going to get a 1.5 amp dumb trickle charger from Princess Auto (Canada's Harbor Freight).
Jumper it with a good battery for a minute till the charger starts. - pianotunaNomad IIIHi all,

too low voltage will throw a f2 error.
is it throwing a error code or is it analyzing the battery, sometimes it shuts down for up to 5 minutes to check the voltage before starting up again
Yep, whereas the Optimate determines the status, provides a course of action, and needs no intervention...Thus, my BD Vector now sits on the shelf...
