The air tank allows water (Which is a product of air compression and de-compression) to settle into the bottom of the tank.. This is why they provide the drain.
NOT TRUE. The moisture and any other liquid debris in a Air Tank WILL come out the air hose in mists or spurts. It does NOT just sit on the bottom of the tank. Doug
