Blue plastic water lines -- OK to use PVC cement?

There are two different types of tool and rings. Most do it yourself guys buy the cinch ring tool. Cheaper and works on all sizes. The crimp rings/tool are more expensive and you need a different tool or adapter for each size.
Sharkbite type of fittings work but if you use it often the tool and cinch rings are the way to go.
