Boliy Pro 3600 sie generator battery

I have one of these generators and overall I'm happy with it however the electric starter battery has been dead for some time and won't recharge when running the generator even for more than an hour. The battery has been dead for over a year so I want to start over with a new one. Anyone know where I can find the replacement battery for this unit?
Also, has anyone ever hooked up a battery tender to one of these? the wires are soldered to the battery terminals and I hate to cut the wires to scab in my charger wires.

    I have one not used in couple years... I put a battery tender on to charge and it will not take a charge .. After a minute I took it off? Can I leave it on longer to accept a charge ? Will it start with the pull rope with a dead battery? I assume it will... How much are batteries for this? 2 batteries!
