- Dusty_RExplorerI've heard of using a paint bucket with lid. Put dirty laundry in bucket with soap and water, close bucket and hang in shower with bungie cords, and drive to next camping sight.
Dusty - buckyExplorer IITelling the Wiz what to do. Priceless.
- jmanateeExplorerWe bought a wonder wash and had really good luck with it. When we got it we actually did a test with different soiled clothes, cleaned as good as our home washer.
We also bought a separate spin dryer. This made a huge difference. We could wash and spin dry a couple loads at night hang on rack in shower and they would be dry by morning. (like this: http://www.laundry-alternative.com/product/Mini-Countertop-Spin-Dryer)
Both store under the bed. We used it a lot on our trip cross country. Socks, Underwear, T-Shirts shorts. Forget about heavy clothes like sweat shirts or jackets. - mena661Explorer

The first one is on sale for $185 and holds 7 lbs of clothes. The one I posted is $99 and holds 5 lbs of clothes. You get 71% of the capacity for 54% of the price, even considering that the first one is on sale. So, yes, it holds less, but is about half the price.

it holds less and cost more.. the first one is on sale - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerEver see clothes with holes in them? Clothes need to be agitated or scrubbed with a brush - watch the washer women down at the stream. I'm not too crazy about adding phosphates to a potential water supply either. The traditional way is to rub one section of the article against another. With my method I don't need to wash my feet :)
