I don’t see any possible way it could have ever worked correctly if the left turn signal wire is not connected to the truck.
Did you check the wire colors at the taillights? I can’t imagine someone only ran one wire and jumpered the two lights. But then ????? I would certainly try to get the dealer to fix it under warranty. I am guessing no one checked the lights before pulling off the lot.
