We went with Brake Buddy because of towing two different vehicles. Had a Classic that we sent in for repair after many years use. Your situation may be different since they WILL repair your Classic if you wish. They said ours was not repairable, at least not practically since both compressor and logic board were bad. They offered only trade-up to Vantage Select and we went with that offer. So far so good. Select offers "proportional braking" as an alternative to "full braking" on the Classic. That and an RF remote that lets you change adjustments. I use the Vantage Select in Full mode, and actually liked the Alerts that came with the Classic a little better than the monitor portion of the one with Select. So personally, had they offered Digital Classic at a substantially lower price than Vantage Select, I'd've gone Digital Classic. That said, nothing wrong with Vantage Select.
