Brother in Law knows everything, now we have a problem

Really think 'Bobbo' picked up on the issue

BIL wired 50A outlet incorrectly. 1 Hot/neutral reversed.

Fridge not working on AC......fuse on control module (backside of fridge) for electric circuit blown, outlet fridge plugs into (outside compartment) dead or electric heating element failed.
