What exact controller do you have? Some cheap ebay ones marked MPPT are "fake MPPT" in that they have no buck to them. Those are ok as ordinary PWMs though. Known here as an "RJ Special" since he introduced us to those models :)
This gizmo is tiny at 60mm square so it might be hard to twiddle the settings and get wires in the terminals. We'll see. I usually start with short thin wires in the terminals like that and build up to fat wires for the long run from those pigtails
I'm guessing my controller is a fake mppt, was a $20 ebay special!! I am looking at this one now cause all the terminals are on same side, like my controller.
