Anyway, isn't that all the Eco-Worthy does? You get whatever watts are left over as its output, and the battery voltage says how many amps that will be. Higher battery voltage, fewer amps.
That is why we like to brag about how many amps we get at noon but first we have to knock the battery voltage way down to get a nice amps number :)
Left alone, the Eco-w would have to wake up to a battery voltage lower than any of us want to see in the morning to run at peak even while tracking the sun. It will choose a longer, slower, gentler rate. Once you get it to kick into high gear with a load, it will stay there until absorb voltage is met. Works for me since I run the coffee maker right after sun up. :)
