Not a clue. Plan is:
A. Fit gizmo with a fan (I have a fan that will work in the gizmo's fan connection)
B. Put gizmo pos output on a low battery (or full battery with a load on it like a loaded inverter via Trimetric) Put gizmo neg output on Trimetric shunt to battery neg with Trimetric reading amps
C. Put panel in the sun, wait a few minutes, check Voc. If too high, de-rate panel till Voc is 32v and also note Isc
D. Put panel output on gizmo input, note change in amps on Trimetric
E. Twiddle gizmo voltage, note changes in amps
F. Post results
G. Duck and run from irate solar controller sellers.
