Bypass converter/charger

Can I bypass converter/charger since I am on city electricity. Have tried but lost all lights. Top of fuse box has 40 amp fuse for the charger going into electric box.

    First of all - Welcome:)
Now, why do you want to do this?
It keeps your battery(ies) charged and powers all of your 12 volt stuff.
If you have an old converter that is boiling your batteries, it's time for a new 3-stage one.
I can think of no other reason for bypassing it.

This is typical 30AMP Electrical Wiring Configuration for the trailers showing what is connected to what.

  • No! The converter charger is an intrigrated part of the system. It produces 12VDC to charge the battery AND power for lights, refer, furnace, etc.
