Cable tv

Have a cable problem , when I hook up to rv park cable, I get a snowey picture , have checked all connections they are tight, also power booster turned off. Any ideas
  • I am thinking that the cables are miss marked or on some rigs you must move a cable from satellite input to cable input behind the TV.

You could also route a cable from the campground connection directly to the TV to see if signal is good.
have done that signal is good

  • Might be that is all the better the campground system works. Ask neighbors about their picture before doing much work to your things. Yes, I have seen all kinds of issues in campgrounds.
  • Verify that the cables is what you think it is.
Check continuity as it could be miss marked.

Did you do a scan for CABLE channels on your TV?
    Siggy
    yes like said snowey picture
  • Badly crimped cable end, cable insulation striped by pulling through a small opening, too many splitters, BOMB connectors need cleaning.

I keep a small wire brush in the compartment with the cable and clean the park connector when I plug in.
