The same voltage reading, yes, but not the same state of charge measurement. The battery meter (with a current shunt) can integrate the current over time and directly measure how much charge was put into or taken out of the battery, and so more directly measure the state of charge, rather than attempting to divine it based on the battery voltage. But indeed the battery voltage is the battery voltage no matter what sort of voltmeter you use to measure it, and all the measurements should agree (within the limitations of your instrumentation).
